Account Manager Freight

Freight Forwarding and Logistics Industry.

Offering a salary of between £32,000 and £39,000 per year, depending on experience.

Based in Bristol.

We are working with a leading Freight and Logistics organisation who offer solutions across Sea, Air and Road freight, covering both Imports and Exports.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager, with experience in Air, Sea or Road freight to join a thriving team and make a commercial impact from the beginning.

The role of Account Manager will include:

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, guaranteeing customers receive a tailored and personalised service, striving to build customer loyalty.

Push GP growth by identifying opportunities for new business across a variation of product lanes, ensuring to secure ongoing shipments.

Driving repeat business by playing a pivotal role in ensuring all jobs are running efficiently and correctly.

Working to establish clear profit margins on all accounts and services, maximising these wherever possible.

Building and maintaining close working relationships with new and existing suppliers.

To be considered for the role of Account Manager, we are seeking a candidate who:

Has previously worked in Road, Air or Sea Freight.

Possesses an incredible working knowledge of Freight Operations, also including Imports, Exports and Cross-trades.

Has proven experience in account management, and experience building their own client portfolio.

Holds the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with a variety of individuals.

Carries outstanding customer service and negotiation skills.
